Ceiling absorber for industry – PES Ceiling Deep Industry
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is an extra-deep ceiling absorber for industrial environments and other tough premises where noise, large volumes, and hard surfaces create challenging acoustics. With a thickness of 100 mm, it is designed to provide powerful sound absorption in production halls, workshops, warehouses, technical rooms, and other environments where sound reflections from the ceiling otherwise amplify reverberation and make the sound environment more stressful.
The absorber is available in three colors—white, gray, and black—and five sizes: 592x592mm, 800x800mm, 1000x1000mm, 1200x600mm, and 1200x900mm. The needle-felted, fabric-free surface is durable and designed to work in more demanding environments where material selection, durability, and long life are important factors.
Maximum sound absorption for ceilings in demanding industrial premises
In industrial premises, strong sound reflections often occur from concrete, steel, and other hard surfaces. When sound bounces between ceilings, walls, and floors, reverberation builds up, which can make the working environment tiring and difficult to communicate in. SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is designed to break this effect by absorbing sound directly in the ceiling, where a large part of the reflections occur.
The extra thickness of 100 mm provides a clear advantage when the acoustics are particularly demanding, for example in rooms with high ceilings, large open spaces, or many simultaneous sound sources. By reducing reverberation and echo, the sound environment feels more controlled, which can improve speech clarity and reduce the perceived noise level in everyday life.
Safe, hygienic, and durable material for tougher environments
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is made from OEKO-TEX®-certified polyester and is free from chemicals, emissions, strong odors, and allergens. This makes it a safe choice even in businesses where indoor air, hygiene, and the working environment are a priority.
The material is mold-resistant and is not adversely affected by moisture, which is an important feature in industrial buildings where climate and air circulation can vary. The compact needle-felted surface is also easy to keep clean with a vacuum cleaner or gentle wiping, making the product practical in environments where maintenance must be simple and reliable over time.
Stylish and robust design with flexible mounting options
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry combines high acoustic performance with a clean and functional design that suits both modern industrial projects and more traditional premises. The panels have a straight-cut edge profile and can be installed individually or in larger groups to create a comprehensive solution that matches the needs of the premises.
PES Ceiling Deep Industry offers several mounting options to suit different types of ceilings and installation requirements:
Without mounting accessories
Gives you complete freedom to use your own fastening methods, such as glue, screws, or integration into the supporting structure.
With mounting brackets
When installing with mounting brackets, 4 mounting brackets are included for sizes 592x592mm, 800x800mm, 1000x1000mm and 6 mounting brackets for other sizes. Choose between mounting brackets – 0 mm thick for ceiling-level mounting or mounting brackets – 50 mm thick, which create a 50 mm air gap for increased sound absorption.
With wire suspension
When choosing wire suspension, a wire kit adapted for stable suspension is included. Each kit contains a coil spring, wire with an eye, and a carabiner with an adjustable clamp. Hooks for attachment to the ceiling are not included and are selected based on the current ceiling construction.
What is the difference between mounting brackets – 0 mm Dictan and mounting brackets – 50 mm spacer?
Mounting brackets – 0 mm thickness mount the absorber directly to the ceiling without an air gap and give a ceiling-close appearance. The total build-up is approximately 100 mm, which corresponds to the thickness of the sound absorber.
Mounting brackets – 50 mm distance, on the other hand, create an air gap of approximately 50 mm between the sound absorber and the ceiling. This gives a total installation height of approximately 150 mm. The air gap improves sound absorption and is often recommended in industrial premises with high ceilings or where maximum acoustic performance is desired.
The choice between mounting brackets – 0 mm thickness and mounting brackets – 50 mm distance is therefore a question of balancing aesthetics, installation conditions, and sound absorption. For the best acoustic results in demanding industrial environments, distance brackets are often the strongest option, while thickness brackets are suitable when installation close to the ceiling is a priority.
A future-proof and circular alternative for industry
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is made from recycled polyester and is fully recyclable. This makes it a sustainable choice for industrial projects where long life, robustness, and circular material choices are important requirements. The absorber resists moisture, mold, and deformation and requires minimal maintenance, making it well suited for businesses where the acoustic solution needs to function stably over a long period of time.
For those looking for an extra-deep ceiling absorber for industry with high sound absorption, durable material, and flexible mounting options, SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is a safe and professional solution.
