The story of SilentDirect begins in the 1990s, when our founder – a dedicated sound enthusiast – built sound systems in his Volkswagen Beetle. There he discovered the lack of smart, affordable and easy-to-install solutions for managing noise and vibrations. The same problem soon arose in homes, offices, and studios, where the options were few, expensive, and often difficult to install. That insight became the basis for a vision to create something better—and from that vision, SilentDirect was born.
