SilentDirect Acoustic Wall Textile is a sound-absorbing wall textile for those who want to reduce reverberation, dampen disruptive sound reflections, and create a quieter acoustic environment without installing traditional acoustic panels. The product serves as a soft and stylish acoustic solution for walls and is equally suitable for homes, offices, meeting rooms, schools, hotels, restaurants, and other environments where both acoustic comfort and interior design are important.
Each wall textile measures 138x220 cm and is constructed with a dense, sound-permeable front and an approximately 4 mm thick felt backing. This construction allows sound waves to pass through the textile and be absorbed by the material behind it, contributing to reduced reverberation and a softer sound in the room.
Thoughtful design for effective sound absorption
SilentDirect Acoustic Wall Textile is designed for rooms where hard surfaces such as walls, floors, glass, and ceilings create echoes and sound reflections. The sound-absorbing front side allows sound energy to pass through, while the felt-backed rear side helps absorb and dampen reflections. The result is more pleasant acoustics with better speech intelligibility, less noise stress, and a more harmonious atmosphere in the room.
Design and color options
Each wall textile is sewn in a 138x220 cm size to create a uniform, continuous surface across the wall. SilentDirect Acoustic Wall Textile is available in ten selected colors—from subtle, neutral shades to more expressive hues—making it easy to adapt the solution to the room’s function and interior design.
To ensure the wall textile hangs straight and evenly, each panel is equipped with discreet, internal pockets at the bottom edge. These are designed to accommodate weights that keep the textile taut along its entire height. The weights contribute to a stable hang and a clean visual appearance, while also improving the acoustic effect by reducing movement in the fabric caused by drafts or vibrations. Please note that weights are sold separately and are not included with the purchase of the product.

Easy installation and flexible use
SilentDirect Acoustic Wall Textile can be ordered without a mounting rail for those who wish to use their own solution, or complete with a rail and Velcro strips. The Velcro system makes it easy to take down and reinstall the fabric with a perfect fit.
Depending on the choice of wall brackets, you can create an air gap behind the textile of 3 cm, 7 cm, or 12 cm. An air gap improves sound absorption, especially at lower frequencies. The larger the air gap, the better the acoustic effect.
Sustainable and low-maintenance construction
SilentDirect Acoustic Wall Textile is made from recycled polyester, with at least 50% consisting of recycled material. The product is OEKO-TEX® certified, hypoallergenic, odor-free, and resistant to moisture and mold.
The textile is easy to keep clean by vacuuming or lightly wiping it down. If necessary, it can also be gently hand-washed without losing its acoustic properties.

The sound-absorbing wall textile is particularly effective in rooms where sound bounces off hard surfaces. In offices and meeting rooms, speech intelligibility is improved; in schools, calmer environments are created; and in the home, it contributes to a softer and more pleasant soundscape.
